"A Rookery"

20” x 24” Original Fluid Art    The technique used for this fluid art is called the “swipe method”, where you layer your paint and drag different widths of wet paper towels through it.  Again, a chemical reaction takes place; lacing or cells form a majestic ice shelf, and the illusion of many penguins called a “Rookery” during a mass migration.  Metallic copper, 24K gold, Aquamarine, green gold, silver, lamp black, cadmium orange, and yellow hue, give this painting the feel of life in the Artic.
