"Conspiracy for Health"

 24” x 36”  Original Mixed Media/Fluid Art  An abstract landscape of reversed color birch trees in the fog of the Great North Woods.  Highly textured birch trees in Carbon Black, pewter and peal highlights provide a striking contrast between the delicate leaves of Persian Pink, Matte black, silver, and Metallic bronze.    A true showpiece for any home or office.   A group of ravens is called an "unkindness" or "conspiracy," which seems fitting, since ravens are traditionally considered creepy.  "Seeing just a single crow/raven is considered an omen of bad luck. Finding two crows, however, means good luck. Three crows mean health, and four crows mean wealth.  Folklore is interesting…Yet, its symbolism is complex. As a talking bird, the raven also represents prophecy and insight. Ravens in stories often act as psychopomps, connecting the material world with the world of spirits.     Artist: Pamela Choquette
