"Secret Garden"

An Original Impasto/Impressionistic style 16" x 20" canvas panel, with satin finish Plein Air frame.    This painting has interesting texture, and hints of its whimiscal history, a secret garden that may have been suddenly abandoned; weeds and wild grasses have almost overtaken the beautiful tulip blossoms.   Bright purple petals, subtle shades of coral, delicate deep yellow wildflowers, with orange hues, are scattered throughout this verdant bed.  A sweet, floral composition that brightens a special space.
