"Flight of the Snow Buntings"

16” x 20”  Original Mixed-Media Fluid Art.    Oh, what a delight, and cheerful treat it was watching these little birds outside my winter wonderland in the Great North Woods.   This was our very first visitation by these little cuties.   Thanks to several friends we were educated on the migration, and other interesting habits of these birds.   It’s virtually impossible to feel the winter blues when watching them, as their joyful flight perfectly choreographed in synchronized harmony makes you smile.   Aggravated by an occasional bossy raven, nothing interrupted their musical twitters and sweet chatter.   Fact:  Snow buntings migrate at night: experiments have shown they navigate by using the earth’s magnetic field in addition to the stars.  Our Creator is just amazing, He who provides us with such joy and blessings
